Event Report: Doll Meet Fall 2013

The mid of november there was a doll meet up here in Belgium. It was in Sint-Niklaas at a day care center for little children. Thanks to our lovely friend Snowphantom we where able to hold this little event at her home. We needed to meet each other at 1 a clock, so the most of the people where nicely on time exempt for one couple. And that couple was my boyfriend and I. During the car ride we had some bad luck, some of the roads where closed for work and we needed to take an other route. So we where half an hour late.

Everyone was sitting at one table being all chatty when we came in. It was so cosy at this place and Snowphantom even decorated the schoolboard in the room which you can see in the picture on top of this post. All the dolls where sitting on the table with lots of food for the owners. I think almost everyone brought something to eat so we had food for a whole army I think. It was all so tasty, the cupcakes that Dreammfairy and Britt made where delicious Dreamm had some with chocolate&caramel, chocolate&marshmellow ones and even an apple cake, while Britt her cupcakes where vanilla ones. They really did their best for it just like everyone else. Himegyarudoll and her mother brought us some vegan tart which was also great! There where also some little snack like chips and nuts and thanks to Elwing there was also some small sandwiches with salmon and cucumber. I brought some cookies and I had made sushi, which turned out so great!

While we where chatting and eating we also made some quick photo's from the dolls. Everyone brought almost 2 or 3 dolls, I brought 5 dolls and a floating head this time. The floating head was only for tutorial purpose so he isn't that important hihi.
It was great to see everyone again with their amazing dolls, some of them where new to me both owner as well as new molds. Such an amazing experience! But that's every time we have a meetup, our little community is getting so close with each other. Since it's such a small group we are able to see the same people more often than the others.

I'm not going to bother you with more talk about all the things that we have talked about since that was mostly what we did that day besides eating. So instead I'll just show you some pictures that I've made. Also many thanks to Dragonfire for bringing his photography lamps to this meet up, it really was a nice add for the pictures. Thanks to him we had some amazing light for the pictures :D
